TOURNAMENT RULES
1. QUALIFICATIONS:
All participants complete 5 game squads, with one Entry and unlimited Re-Entries.
Lane assignments are drawn before the start of each squad.
Lane rotation happens after the first two games, moving to the next pair to the right, where participants finish their remaining 3 games.
All games (except for desperado) are played in pair game mode. Distribution between A and B groups is based on the BBF Ranking from 01.07.2021. For foreign participants that want to participate in B Group, they need to show a document proving their B group distinction in their home country. If a player wishes to play for A group, he will be allowed, but will not be allowed back into B group for the rest of the tournament. Going from A Group to B is not allowed.
A group finals will consist of 16 players and B group will consist of 8 players, as follows:
Group A
- 2 participants with the highest results from squads from 16.07.2022 till 21.07.2022(including); Note: any participants qualified in this categories participate in finals with their best result from all tournament squads;
- 1 participant from Desperado 1 (after squad 20) Thursday. All participants with an Entry can register for the Desperado;
- 11 participants with the highest result from all tournament squads;
- 1 participant from Desperado 2 (after squad 22) Saturday.
Note: Both participants that qualify from Desperado 1 and Desperado 2, participate in the finals with their best squad result from all squads played.
- 1 participant with the most squads played. The participant that qualified in this spot, participates in the finals with their best squad result from all squads played.
Group B
1 participants with the highest results from squads from 16.07.2022 till 21.07.2022(including); Note: any participants qualified in this categories participate in finals with their best result from all tournament squads;
1 participant from Desperado 1 (after squad 20) Thursday. All participants with an Entry can register for the Desperado;
4 participants with the highest result from all tournament squads;
1 participant from Desperado 2 (after squad 22) Saturday.
Note: Both participants that qualify from Desperado 1 and Desperado 2, participate in the finals with their best squad result from all squads played.
1 participant with the most squads played. The participant that qualified in this spot, participates in the finals with their best squad result from all squads played.
ФИНАЛИ:
First stage:
All participants’ best qualifying squad result is divided by 2, rounding down to a whole number.
9:00 – The qualified 8 participants from Group B play 4 games in pair mode. Lane assignments are drawn before the start of this stage. Participants move to the next pair of lanes to their right after each game. Their 4 game results is added to the half of their best qualifying squad result. First 3 participants qualify for the Stepladder phase.
11:00 – The qualified 16 players from Group A play 4 games in pair mode. Lane assignments are drawn before the start of this stage. Participants move to the next pair of lanes to their right after each game. Their 4 game results is added to the half of their best qualifying squad result. First 8 participants qualify for the Second Stage.
Second stage:
The results of the first 8 from Group A are divided by 2, rounding down to a whole number. The 8 participants play 4 games in pair mode. Lane assignments are drawn before the start of the stage. Participants move to the next pair of lanes to their right after each game. Their 4 game result is added to the half of their result from the First stage.
Stepladder:
Group A and Group B play their Stepladders simultaneously in one game matches. Thirds vs Second, with the winner bowling for the title against the participant who qualified First. A group play on lanes 3-4, B group play on lanes 1-2.
Допълнителни условия:
- The tournament can be streamed and taped for publishing materials for the press.
- In case a participant qualifies by more than one criteria, the priorities of qualifying are as follows: highest squad result, highest squad result before 21.07.2022; Desperado; Most squads played.
- In case of a tie the participant with the highest last game gets the advantage. In case of a new tie, the second-last game is compared, etc.;
- In case of a tie in the Stepladder phase, a one-ball roll-off will be the decider;
- All undescribed cases are settles by the tournament organizer. The organizer retains the right to make amendments to the tournament rules at any time.

Note: The accumulated amount is formed by all fees recieved from entries and re-entries, as well as any amounts awarded by additional sponsors, after a 25% deduction for the organizer’s expenses.
